Photos and Video

Most couples are 100% sure they need professional photography. Arkansas has a lot of unique and truly amazing photographers. There are some old school types that go for the formal shots and whimsy is not part of their vocabulary. Lots of people love their in-control-get-it-done style. For some couples, they want their photos to happen more naturally and some photographers have that more relaxed style.

Videographers are the same way. Most know what shots they want and make a point to get those, but for a video to make you shine, they have to be on their toes to catch those candid moments, too.

The big thing about photos and video... they can be expensive.  Each serves a different purpose. A photographer catches a moment in time. A split second. What happened before that second? That's the job of a videographer. The photos tell a certain part of the story, but a video gives you the rest of the story. A video can let you remember the changing emotion in your groom's face as it softens and his eyes try not to cry when he sees you at the end of the aisle. A video can make you remember how it felt to dance with your dad when you watch it in action instead of only a photo. Photos are absolutely necessary, but a video rounds out the story.

Whoever you choose for photos and video, look over their catalogue of work and make sure you can have a productive working relationship with them. They will be all up in your space at some point, so you probably need to be comfortable around them.
