Flowers make people happy, right? They are part of almost every important life event. Does your mom still have the vase from your baby bouquet? Did you press your rose from Prom? What about the first flower your groom gave you? Important life events from birth until, well, the end, are all commemorated by beautiful flowers.
There are 'basic' flower needs of a wedding such as the Bride's Bouquet, Bridesmaids' bouquets, boutonnieres for all the gentlemen from the groom, to groomsmen, dads and ushers. Some couples choose to be frugal with their flower funds and that's fine. Silk flowers can be just as beautiful, sometimes even more decorative, and serve a purpose later on.
Other couples, enlist a florist to add their flair to the reception with table decor, arbors, aisle flowers and things you just didn't know you needed. Flowers can be taken as far as your budget will allow. Florists are not just for bouquets and boutonnieres. Some florists set scenes for photos, help decorate the catering tables and arrange florals for the cake and cake table.
