What is Bridal Fair Arkansas?

We are aiming for an Official Launch Date of April 1.

As a wedding vendor for the last, um, many years, getting in front of wedding couples has always been a top priority. I LOVE Bridal Shows! But they are 5-6 hours and done. If you don't make a GREAT impression, that's as far as it goes. It's sometimes hard to make that great impression because there are so many people! They can also be overwhelming for couples... tons of info all at once and then they go home and sort through what they remember.

I wanted to develop something that helped the LOCAL vendor of all budgets be able to reach the brides of all budgets. Bridal Shows are not cheap to be a part of and a lot of wedding vendors don't participate because of that. I've had brides tell me that they were looking for things that were a little more 'down to earth' than a lot of the things they've seen at Bridal Fairs. There are many budget conscious brides that don't find what they NEED at the large expos.

Let's talk about that LOCAL aspect. There are some great national wedding resources online but again, there is a GREAT expense associated with them and I've found that there are a lot of out of the area vendors that were listed way before our listing. The intention is for our vendors to be local to the area.

We have a limited vendor list to give these wedding couples options but not be overwhelmed. We want our vendors to shine and make a great impression! We want vendors of different price points to accommodate a variety of couples and their budgets.

There are so many little details to a wedding, to any party or event really. Small items such as the tablecloths and napkins to a minister and a bartender. Our job at Bridal Fair Arkansas is to make it easy to contact some of the best vendors in Arkansas to make your party as spectacular as you have imagined since you were nine years old. We all want you to be the princess you deserve to be on your wedding day.

Just a little note here... it's not just YOUR wedding day. Twenty years ago, grooms weren't as involved in the wedding planning as they are today. Funny thing, I think most of then WANT to be involved in planning! So when you start planning that list, make sure he has plenty of input. You will probably see a different side of him.

Sharpe and I have been wedding vendors since 1993 when we put together Sharpe Dunaway's Mobile DJ service... we have ALL the CD's still! When he got into producing commercials, wedding films was a natural progression. Somewhere in there we acquired a photo booth, which is more work that most people realize, but I always have fun with it. We've done formal Bridal Shows and they work, but not everyone can afford them. That's why we are hosting a Virtual Bridal Fair with Bridal Fair Arkansas.

I've been to weddings that cost tens of thousands of dollars and ones that happened in our driveway. The bottom line is that it's not the dress, the guests, the cake or the food that make you married. It's the journey you go on together. The celebration is the fun part though!
